Barbara File Marangon is a writer and teacher with a BA from SUNY Empire State College. She wrote the book DETOUR ON AN ELEPHANT, A Year Dancing with the Greatest Show on Earth, about her experience as a dancer-elephant rider for Ringling Bros. Circus. Barbara is a resident of Florida, and is currently writing her second memoir, CHASING CASTLES, 19 Years Living and Teaching Ballet in Italy.
