I used to work as a civil servant in a Brazilian Court of Justice, where I performed several duties, translating being one of them. I successfully translated several documents, legal and non-legal, such as administrative, political, public management, scientific, educational, ethical and other (related) fields. Later, after retiring from government service, I started working as a freelance translator. I am also very interested in literary translation.
