Anna Jacobs was born in the Latvian territory of the USSR (today: The Republic of Latvia), and raised bi-lingually (speaking Russian and Latvian languages). At age of 6, a third language—English—was introduced to her. At age of 13, she also began studying German. Since 2012, Anna lives in the United States. In May 2019, she received a BA in Environment and Society from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA, and in July 2020 started Masters programm in Education at Antioch University.
Anna's translation experience is freelance, ranging from translating short documents and brochures, to translating TED Talks and books, to serving as in interpreter.
