I am a bilingual writer from the East German countryside, creative and strong-minded, lover of words and a major cat-enthusiast. I have three cats, and together we live in The Hague, Netherlands. I thoroughly enjoy my work as a freelance translator. My main fields of expertise include tourism/travel, technical documents, manuals, medical documents, websites and e-commerce. I have recently also ventured into translating larger projects of fiction and non-fiction. Being a creative writer myself, I find working on translations for fiction especially rewarding and interesting. In the past, I have finished my degree in journalism and english, and have since also gotten a degree in political science and international development. I have a passion for animal and human rights, participatory democracy and social movements.
