I am a translator and writer. i have a first novel published in Amazon. It is called El perfil de Lena. I have selfpublished a kindle version and a paper version. It is a novel about women. More specifically about women 50 years old who are still looking for love but they find (more often than not) just sex.
It intends to be a novel about the first generation of women who have lived alone, brought up their children alone and still manage to have careers, to travel and to lead,more or less, satisfactory lifes.
I had good critics from some big publishing houses but not enough to publish it "in despite of its undeniable interest",as one of them said. The novel is not doing very well in Spanish (almost no novel is) but I am pretty sure it could sell well in English. I am a translator from English into Spanish and I am looking for someone the other way round. I could be open to interchange. Maybe you have a novel you would like to translate into Spanish? Or I would be happy to do it through Babelcube.
If there is anybody interested, please let me know. It is a short novel. It's not a master piece but I am positive its quality is above average or I would not have selfpublished. I have asked expert opinions before doing that.
