I began writing seriously a couple of years ago, after a life-long love of it. I am a current member of the Tasmanian Writers Centre, and the Australasian Horror Writers Association. My output is varied in genre and length, but has received a positive response. I have self-published two horror short stories, a romance novel, a paranormal novella, and have been included in several anthologies. My stories are written for enjoyment, both mine and the reader's. The result is flights of fancy that appeal and entertain. I have a number of new projects in development, and would love to reach as wide an audience as possible.
My debut horror short story "Arachnight" was included in the anthology Writers' Anarchy IV: Horror in 2015. I then published it as a stand-alone in 2016, and it has received some excellent reviews all 4 or 5 stars each.
My debut romance novel Dylan's Rock was released in early August 2016. Reviews have been difficult to achieve, but I've had very positive feedback from beta readers (pre-publication) and from friends and family.
A short literary piece by me, "The Toothbrush Incident", is featured in the Grieve 2016 anthology, produced by the Hunter Writers Centre, and was short-listed in the associated competition.
Another dark fiction short story of mine, "Life, Death and Taxes" was included in Twisted Tax Tales, released in 2017. It was selected as being one of the top 20 entries receieved in the associated international competition.
I have had short stories included in two publications produced by the Australasian Horror Writers Association - "All I Want" in Hell's Bells (2016) and "Effigia Malo" in Midnight Echo #12 (2017). Midnight Echo #12 was shortlisted for an Aurealis Award and an Australian Shadows Award. "Crush" was included in the anthology Anemone Enemy (2017) produced by Oscillate Wildly Press. I've also had several pieces of flash fiction included in anthologies.
