Andy Ben is the nick of Andrea Calvi. I was borned in Milan (Italy) on December 10, 1972.
I graduated in Electronic Engineering.
Since January 2001, I've worked as a hardware and firmware designer for some companies in the railway and military avionics and now I'm performing the same activity in the branch of industrial automation.
Between 1988 and 1990, along with several friends, I founded the pop band "I bionici". I wrote, and / or arranged some lyrics like "Ragazzo disperato" and "Ragazza".
I wrote my first novel, "Ti ho scritto una mail" between June 1997 and May 2010 and it published by Gruppo Albatros - Il filo in November 2010.
In January 2015 I published the thriller novel "Squarcio" by Lettere Animate.
In October 2015 I published the short story "Il mio ultimo giorno" in free of charge thriller antology "Buio" by Lettere Animate.
"Cruore" is the second volume of thriller saga started from "Squarcio". It was published in late 2017.
"Candido Rosso" and "Lame" are 2 short story in antology "Io me lo leggo - Speciale Natale" published by PubMe in 2017
In 2018, I re-published a new edition of "Ti ho scritto una mail" and also the collection of stories and songs "Giovedì 23 e altre follie".
Now, I'm writing the third volume of the saga "Squarcio". It will be named "Deliri"
