My name is Andrea. I am a Mexican translator with a degree in English Literature and Language from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. My translations mostly center on audiovisual and written content for digital media, ranging from academic texts to irreverent comedies for English and Spanish speakers. I like to get to know new cultures and stories, which is why I familiarize with the context of the texts or movies I have to translate. Thus, I can also recreate as much as possible the effects or quirks of the product in its source language. Even though the content I translate is diverse, I like to focus on popular genres and poetry.

Author review: Thoroughly enjoyed working with Andrea. Very professional, meets deadlines and goes the extra mile. For example, a map included in my manuscript needed to be translated also, and Andrea did so. She keeps original formatting, which is a bonus when it come to the final version.
