My name is Anargyros and I am a Greek philologist. At the moment, my time is shared  between teaching Greek philology at the Department of Greek philology at Foreign Studies University of Tianjin, China, and teaching Greek as a foreign language online.

I have been translating since 2010, mostly History, Sociocultural Anthropology, Political Sciences, Novels, Poetry, Comics and Webtoons, Literature in general.

I am an enthusiastic polyglot, and I will be happy to communicate with you in English, Greek, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, and maybe French, Romanian, Serbian and Polish. Yet, I translate exclusively into Greek, and only from English, Portuguese and Italian.

I have graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (BA History & Archaeology-Classical Philologies) and from the University of the Aegean (MA Gender Studies and Sociolinguistics). I have also spent 1 year at the Universidade de Coimbra (Portuguese philology and translation courses) and 1 year at the European University of Cyprus (Inclusive Education courses).
