I am a freelance translator and English and Portuguese teacher based in the centre of Portugal.
I offer professional language services from English, Spanish, French into European Portuguese.
I was born in Mozambique in 1972, but I came to Portugal in 1974. I took a degree in Literature and Modern Languages, then I decided to study translation, so I attended a two year Specialization Course on Translation (French, English, Portuguese) which focused on Law and Economics translations and finally an MA in Translation Studies where I specialized in Subtitling for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
I translate documents in areas such as medical, technical, environmental, social sciences, corporate communication materials and marketing, contracts and education. Besides being a translator, I also teach Portuguese and English.
