I have been working as a translator since 2009. In addition to translating, I work as a reviser/proofreader and a teacher of Portuguese as a foreign/second language. From December 2009 to February 2015 I was also the manager of a small translation agency.

From April 2011 to June 2012 I worked as a translator in the European Parliament, in Luxembourg, and I currently collaborate with translation agencies responsible for translating documents from EU Institutions.

I also have some experience in subtitling, namely subtitling TV series, such as "The Simpsons" and "Cleveland".

I am a member of the Portuguese Translators Association (APT).

Considering the above, and although my experience in literary translation is still limited, book translation is, in fact, my professional goal and my passion.
