As a native German speaker with an interest in obscure niches, I've been reading on the internet in English for as long as I can think. I am also a total bookworm, and this earned me native-level fluency in both English and German. In high school I took up Japanese classes, as I've been listening to Japanese audio dramas for years at that point. From then on I've been translating blog posts or self-published comics for a private audience. Currently I am finishing up my Bachelor's degree in Japanese and English. I take special interest in translation and would like to take the opportunity to practice as much as possible before taking on full-time translation jobs.
