Originally from Switzerland, I moved to the UK to finish my BA in English Language and Literature with an Erasmus semester. I then gained work experience working in customer service roles for three years, before completing a MA in Translation Studies at The University of Sheffield, I will graduate in January. My dissertation was an annotated translation exploring the translation of cultural elements in a play. Throughout my MA, I learned to translate a variety of texts, and developed a particular interest in literary translation, hence my dissertation topic.
