I was born and raised in Mexico and I’ve been living in Alberta, Canada for 13 years. I have a bachelor degree and a masters degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Monterrey, NL, Mexico.
I have been teaching Spanish for the past 12 years, privately and for a few years also in a High School Grade 10-12. A few years ago I also started translating simple documents. That gave me the motivation to pursue this career. I started my certification process. So far, I have obtained the Associate Level with Alberta Translators and Interpreters Association in English-Spanish. I’m in the process of obtaining it in Spanish- English.
To fully obtain certification I need to complete a certain number of translations.
I am looking for opportunities that would allow me to complete this requisite.
