2 ounces whole wheat pasta
Cooking spray
½ cup chopped onions
2 minced garlic cloves
½ cup spaghetti sauce
1 cup sliced Italian-style chicken sausage
½ cup chopped mushrooms
1 sliced paprika
½ cup chopped zucchini
¼ cup chopped basil
Procedure:
In a large pan, add water and salt and bring to a boil on medium-high heat.
Add pasta and cook for about 8 to 10 minutes or according to package directions.
Remove the pan from heat and transfer the pasta into a strainer. Drain the pasta well.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, sauté onion and garlic on medium heat for about 4 to 5 minutes with a little oil spray.
Add spaghetti sauce, sausage, zucchini, paprika and mushrooms for about 12 minutes until veggies are tender.
Add pasta and mix till well combined. Garnish with chopped basil.
