2 cups Tater Tots, thawed
1 cup frozen green peas, thawed
1/4 cup canned hot or mild green chiles, minced
1 scallion, minced or 1 teaspoon dehydrated chives
2 tablespoons raisins
1 tablespoon tamari
1 tablespoon curry powder
2 teaspoons ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt and ground black pepper
2 large flour tortillas
Your favorite chutney (see note)
Place the Tater Tots in a lightly-oiled skillet over medium heat and mash them with a potato masher or ricer. Add the peas, chiles, scallion, raisins, tamari, curry powder, coriander, cumin, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and cook, stirring, until hot, about 5 minutes. Taste and adjust the seasonings, if needed.
Place two large tortillas on a flat work surface. Divide the potato mixture evenly between the tortillas. Spread the filling mixture evenly on half of each tortilla. Fold the remaining half of each tortilla over the half with the filling and press gently to enclose and spread the filling close to the edges.
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Arrange the samosadillas in the hot skillet, one at a time or both, depending on the size of your skillet. Flatten with a metal spatula and cook until browned on the bottom, about 3 minutes. Flip the samosadillas and cook until the other side is golden brown. Transfer to a flat work surface and cut into triangles. Serve hot with chutney.
