A Metaphysical Time Travel Sci-Fi Fantasy Novel

The society, dalai lama and the multiverse

In his second unexpected plunge 400 years into the future, a smart, charismatic time traveler is guided in a profound exploration of human potential and the interconnectedness of events and time by the ultimate spiritual authority - the Dalai Lama himself…

In Dalai Lama and the Multiverse, Alex, a former IT professional, again finds himself waking up in a Utopian world vastly different from the one he once knew. As he tries to make sense of his new reality, he meets a truly unexpected companion - the Dalai Lama. Together, they embark on a mind-bending journey that explores the profound intersections of ancient wisdom and modern technology, leading them to discover the existence of the Multiverse.

Alongside Dalai Lama, Alex is joined by David, a surprisingly spry 98-year-old astrophysicist whose work unearths mind-bending scientific discoveries, and Tilopa, a revered yogi who brings profound spiritual insight into their quest. Together, this unlikely team of thinkers begins to unravel the mysteries of the Multiverse, a vast network of parallel universes that could redefine everything humanity has ever known. As they navigate their individual paths, they discover that the boundaries between science, spirituality, and the nature of existence itself are not as separate as they once seemed.

Dalai Lama and the Multiverse took me on a ride I honestly didn’t expect. Waking up 400 years in the future? Already wild. But then pairing Alex with the Dalai Lama, an astrophysicist, and a yogi? That combo turned out to be pure magic.

What I loved most was how the book blended science and spirituality in a way that didn’t feel forced or preachy. The Buddhist teachings hit deep—especially the stuff about impermanence and interconnectedness—and the multiverse angle kept my brain spinning in a good way. It made me think big, reflect, and also just enjoy a really unique story with heart and purpose.

This isn’t your typical sci-fi or spiritual read—it’s a mix of both with a whole lot of soul. If you’re into deep thoughts and stories that make you feel something real, this one’s definitely worth picking up.

For two hours, I admired the sheer wilderness stretching beneath. The mountains had been there for millions of years. How many species had vanished, and how many had emerged in that time? Thousands, maybe tens of thousands. But life itself had never disappeared. No matter what happened, ever since it first appeared on Earth billions of years ago, it had never been wiped out completely. It had taken countless forms, had been reduced to just a handful of species at times, yet it always returned, seemingly stronger after each trial. And I felt that it didn’t want to remain confined to this planet.

We arrived in Dharamsala at dusk. Only one person was waiting for us. He took our small bags and led David and me to our rooms.

– Make yourselves comfortable. We’ll meet later, said Khedrup. I have some things to take care of for now. I stood on the small balcony of my room. We were at a much lower altitude than in Lhasa. In the distance, the peaks of the Himalayas, covered in eternal snow, stood tall. The palace, though not as imposing as the one in Lhasa, was perched on a hill, offering a view of the entire valley and the city below. Numerous flycars, some large enough to carry many passengers, moved through the air. It seemed even more crowded than Lhasa.

A soft knock on the door announced David’s presence.

– Let’s go to Khedrup, David said.

– Let’s go, I replied, though I would have preferred to sleep and leave our discussion for the morning. I still didn’t understand why we had to rush here so quickly. What had happened that made the Dalai Lama leave his winter residence for the summer one? And if Tulipa wasn’t even here, what was the point of coming?
