They started off in London: a small group of youthful ruffians hell-bent on creating disorder, crime, and fear, predating gangs such as the Krays and the Richardsons by half a century. The book charts their rise from London, through the UK and to Hull, where they remained until a crackdown was launched, and the gang either ceased or went underground.
They are still the stuff of legend, but now, for the first time in history, their true story will be told. Who they were, where they came from, what they did, and how they came to power.
