There is a secret that will bring America to its knees. In The Invisible Enemy: Black Fox, Reporter Dorian Valentine discovers the horrific truth regarding the Strategic Offensive Reduction Treaty (a critical peace agreement between the former Soviet Union and the United States): One side is cheating, and even worse - the cheating side holds the ultimate trump card. Brutally trained from birth to live, talk, and think like Americans, foreign powers have constructed the most dangerous network of secret operatives ever known - created for the ultimate trinity: Intelligence, Espionage, and Warfare. This dynamic organization has been planted on US soil long ago by the former KGB to retrieve information at any cost, cause political catastrophe, or kill on moment’s notice. Now they are out of control, striking fear into the heart of the Pentagon. The Central Intelligence Agency assembles a powerful team of assassins that “do not exist” in an attempt to terminate an enemy that cannot be caught by any traditional methods. The Invisible Enemy grabs the reader by the arm, and casts them deep into the furious depths of intense warfare, awesome espionage, and unpredictable deceit - where there is a frightful undercover agenda that even the operatives themselves are not aware of.

The Ultimate Spy Thriller. If you have ever wondered where action filmmakers get their ideas for exciting screenplays, wonder no more. Anthony R. Howard is responsible for one of this decade’s most thrilling page-turners.” [5 STARS] -- Ayanna Guyto, Yahoo.com Magazine - Associated Press
From the first sentence, I was reminded of my time in the Army and the realization of having to actually prepare to go to war. "Get in and get out. What do you think this is, some kind of game?" Devin snarled." THAT is what grabbed me, and continued to hold me as Mr. Howard details the mechanisms of intrigue and intricately reveals the brokenness of mankind in his quest for supremacy. I was at once transported to my time of working with sensitive material. Mr. Howard masterfully introduces the reader to relatable, real-world characters, motives and spirit, while simultaneously introducing the plausible realities of weaponry in our very real world. The author does a masterful job in setting the plot for this terrific spy novel. As I began to read the book, I could not put it down. I normally read very casually, but I read this book in a couple of days! It was extremely riveting. The locations in DC and the surrounding suburbs (Columbia, MD) were real streets that I have actually driven on. The background on the Russian and American agents was marvelously written. How they had infiltrated America and blended in, was a little scary. I could barely wait for the sequel, that was just as captivating. Whether or not you like spy novels, this book is a must read. Enjoy. [5 STARS]

Chapter 1
“Get in and get out. What do you think this is, some kind of game?” Devin snarled.
“I just thought—”
“I do the thinking. All you do is what I say,” Devin coldly replied.
Garret was silent. He looked into the boss’s cold eyes and saw no understanding, no mercy, and no patience. There was no compassion between the two men.
“In and out,” was Garret’s meek reply, but it was just an act. There was no fear in Garret’s heart.
“Take Teams A and F and complete the operation. You will signal Man 3 at 9:15 a.m., enter the facility at 9:18, expedite the operation exactly as planned, and exit at 9:21. Are there any questions, Mr. Garret?”
The boss’s tone told him there had better not be.
