When a missed call changes Bella’s life, she does what any 20-something Irish lass would do–flee the Emerald Isle for the warm, Mediterranean paradise of Cyprus.
Here, she will discover not only what it means to be free, but to truly be a woman. When a rugged Cypriot baker vies for her affections, she must decide if she’s in it to win it, or if she’s simply using him as a distraction to flee the ghosts of her past.
But it won’t be an easy decision. She has cats to feed, a villa to run, and islanders to meet. The locals are warm and welcoming to foreigners. Unless, of course, the outsider tries to date a Cypriot.
Can Bella overcome the pains of her past and carve out a new identity in a sunny paradise? Will she discover there’s more to the baker than meets the eye?
To find out, take a walk down The Cypriot Aisle.

Maria sighed and shot the younger woman an apologetic look which told her that her plan was a no-go.
“Eleana, she stuck in the past” Maria confessed to her.
“Stuck in the past?” Bella asked, her mind flashing back to the review she had found only a few days prior.
Maria didn’t say another word on the subject and left Bella standing there, still not completely understanding what she meant.
Bella felt as though she had a rough idea of what Maria said, but she wanted to be sure. She didn’t want to jump to conclusions about the old woman.
Before she could chase after her and demand an explanation, she heard Eleana yell her name from inside.
“Bella!” she shouted, “Come to the kitchen. I want to talk to you!.”
“I’m coming!”
She placed the broom against the wall while she hurried to see what the woman wanted this time. Bella prayed that Eleana hadn’t managed to destroy any more cookware.
Her pulse quickened with each passing step. The lack of sleep she had gotten over the past few nights had begun to take its toll on her.
In the kitchen she found Eleana standing over the oven. Bella wondered if the woman ever took a break from cooking. Most of the time she had been at the villa the older woman could always be found in the kitchen. The old women gestured for her to sit down in front of a plate of steaming food.
