The Billionaire's Alibi: The Scandal completes the first third of this serial! This serial novella is about 25,000 words, or about 120 printed pages. This romantic suspense is recommended for mature audiences ages 18+.
Genre: FICTION / Romance / GeneralThis book has been a huge seller through iTunes in a number of English and Spanish speaking countries as well as all over Europe.
The series for this book has 6 books in total that all sell at $3.99 in digital, attracting a high quality audience that is not necessarily looking for a bargain, but rather for a good read. The feedback has been almost entirely positive, as you can see from a lot of the reviews on various retailers with the book.
The series will hit 9 books in total, with the last one scheduled for an June 2015 release. So far, each book in the series has gained steam with every new release. The series is just getting started but is already selling hundreds of books internationally per month, and it will only go up from there.
Ideally, I'm looking for someone who wants to translate the series, as I'd like to work with the same translator over and over again. I'm especially looking for German and Spanish translators as those are two markets the English ebooks are already selling in; Canada is also a popular country so a French translator would be great. However, I'm open to translations in all languages available.
Finally, I'm looking for someone who is entrepreneurial and can really market the books in the appropriate countries. I'll provide ample marketing content from blog posts to bonus scenes and more that can be translated for the audience, and I'm also happy to set up and host a translated version of my website where a translator could post the content. I am happy to redo the covers as well for specific translations to appeal to that audience. I'm looking for a partner to work with and I hope to find one in every language offered!
WILL eyed the detective in front of him warily. He'd been in police custody for nearly ten hours and was exhausted from the incessant questioning. He'd repeated himself nearly a dozen times already, and no matter how they reworded their accusations, his answer was always the same: he didn't kill Jaycee Carpenter.
Or Vivian for that matter. Or anyone.
But the police were desperate for answers in these unsolved murders and, despite the mounting evidence that he was innocent, until they found another lead, he was their main focus.
"You've been linked to two recent deaths, both single gunshot wounds to the chest," the detective said, leaning back in his metal chair. He was trying to intimidate Will, to get under his skin. He was doing a pretty good job of the latter. "You're one of the last people to see Vivian Palmerson, and you were out with Jaycee Carpenter nine days ago. What's the connection here, Will?"
"We've been through this a dozen times now," Timothy Brown said, his own voice sounding tired. "Is this really necessary?"
Henry Harper had immediately called Will's lawyer and instructed him to meet them at the precinct, ordering Will not to say anything until he arrived. He knew the drill. It was the same as when Grace was murdered. And then Vivian. And now Jaycee.
He couldn't exactly blame the police for looking to him as their main suspect.
A knock on the door jolted the detective from his line of questioning. Another man stepped in, seeming certain that he wasn't interrupting.
"I'm Detective Johansson," he said. "Answer the question." He nodded at the other detective, who stood up with a frustrated look on his face and stomped out of the room.
