The Billionaire's Alibi: The Investigation raises the stakes for all the main characters involved. This serial novella is about 25,000 words, or about 120 printed pages. This romantic suspense is recommended for mature audiences ages 18+.
Genre: FICTION / Romance / GeneralThis book has been a huge seller through iTunes in a number of English and Spanish speaking countries as well as all over Europe.
The series for this book has 6 books in total that all sell at $3.99 in digital, attracting a high quality audience that is not necessarily looking for a bargain, but rather for a good read. The feedback has been almost entirely positive, as you can see from a lot of the reviews on various retailers with the book.
The series will hit 9 books in total, with the last one scheduled for an June 2015 release. So far, each book in the series has gained steam with every new release. The series is just getting started but is already selling hundreds of books internationally per month, and it will only go up from there.
Ideally, I'm looking for someone who wants to translate the series, as I'd like to work with the same translator over and over again. I'm especially looking for German and Spanish translators as those are two markets the English ebooks are already selling in; Canada is also a popular country so a French translator would be great. However, I'm open to translations in all languages available.
Finally, I'm looking for someone who is entrepreneurial and can really market the books in the appropriate countries. I'll provide ample marketing content from blog posts to bonus scenes and more that can be translated for the audience, and I'm also happy to set up and host a translated version of my website where a translator could post the content. I am happy to redo the covers as well for specific translations to appeal to that audience. I'm looking for a partner to work with and I hope to find one in every language offered!
"YOUR total comes to $2,672."
Alexa placed her black American Express card on the sales counter and slid it across to the pretty saleswoman with only the slightest hesitation. Although the Harpers had given her an unlimited budget—and while she figured she deserved it after making a deal with the devil—she still felt guilty about spending their money, especially considering her most recent conversation with the family's matriarch.
"Sign here, please."
The woman behind the counter passed a small slip of paper back to her. Alexa scrawled her name on the signature line in big, loopy letters with barely a thought. She'd gotten so used to the new name and new life she'd created for herself all those years ago that she barely considered it a lie anymore.
This was who she was.
She was Alexa Romo.
Or, at least, she was now.
She had been going by her middle name, Alexa, and her mother's maiden name, Romo, for eight years—ever since she had left her father and his family for good. She'd finally been able to put her ugly past with him behind her and move forward with this life she had created for herself. A new life. A good life.
"Have a great day," the sales woman said with a smile.
Alexa took the receipt from her and tucked it into her purse.
Okay, so there had been some hiccups as of late: running out of money had sucked, breaking up with Chase had been a nightmare, and nannying for Frannie's children wasn't exactly the path to a stellar career. But that life had still been hers. It was the life she'd been trying to succeed in when she was blackmailed into being Will's alibi and forced into accepting Rebecca's contract; it was the life she was willing to put on hold for a few years while she began again—with a little help from the Harpers.
