Get the most powerful weapon used in mastering the English language which is an English dictionary.
The dictionary is the only place that success comes before work. Hard work is the price we must pay for success. I think you can accomplish anything if you're willing to pay the price.
Vince Lombardi
Notice I used the word get. To get means to go out of your way to put the necessary effort to possess. Go to an English book shop and buy an English dictionary. There are many types in different formats.
You can get the book type or the electronic type or you can use the free English dictionary on the World Wide Web (www). You will need two dictionaries. You need one with translations in your local language for starters and another that is purely English only for experienced or above normal English learners.
Why is this so? At the beginning of your mastery of English words, you will need translations that are compatible with your dominant current language in order to make the learning process easy for you.
You will need to either move with it daily or position your dictionaries where you can have continuous access to them daily. You must constantly use this dictionary in order to improve your vocabulary daily.
That’s why I always recommend the mobile phone because it can be easily carried along with you everywhere.
