The World of Monad is inhabited by races of felises, varnases and arakuns. However, in this world there are Reborn and Summoned. The Summoned control the Mechanical Gods and fight the invasion of the People of the Forest. They live in the sacred city of Urbanus and obey the priests of the varnases. The priests of the varnases keep many secrets, including the secret of the origin of the World of Monad.
Lacrima, a felis girl, was born into a prosperous family of Court Hunters. But she does not intend to continue the family business. She is Reborn and remembers very well that in her past life she was ‘the happiest girl’, a vegetarian and animal activist. Lacrima, against the opinion of her family, joins the Adventurer's Guild.
One day, Roni, the priestess of the Central Temple from the sacred Urbanus and one of the last humans of the World of Monad, receives a task from the priests of the varnases. She must go to the city of Neris and conduct an independent investigation. In Neris, young arakuns and felises disappear without a trace, and mysterious ghosts appear.
Along the way, Roni, endowed with extraordinary magical abilities, helps the Adventurer team fight off the Monsters and meets Lacrima. Lacrima is constantly haunted by the thought that she has already met Roni. But where and when? After all, Roni hides her face. Roni and the Adventurers travel to Neris together. What awaits them in this city? Will they unravel the mystery of the disappearance of arakuns, felises and the appearance of ghosts? Did Lacrima know Roni before? The threads of destinies are intricately intertwined in the World of Monad.
Genre: FICTION / Fantasy / GeneralOn the huge single continent of Wend, washed by various seas, covered with a huge tract of forests, there are five kingdoms. The kingdoms were inhabited by humanoid cats — felises.
Felises walked on two legs, had a lifespan and figures like humans. They had cat tails and ears. Their tails, ears and legs were covered with cat fur. Of course, the fur varied in color and length. The felises took care of their fur, washing it thoroughly and combing it with special brushes. This is understandable — it’s impossible not to take care of such beauty! However, some felis girls, as a tribute to fashion, completely shaved the fur on their legs.
If necessary, felises could show their claws, although at first glance their fingernails looked similar to those of humans. The felises' eyes were like a cat's — depending on the lighting, the pupil narrowed or expanded.
The nose of the humanoid cats looked very interesting. It was shaped like a human nose, but the tip of the nose, like a cat's, was pink, brown or black.
The society of the felises of the five kingdoms is based on the same hierarchy, the so-called System of Levels and Classes. There were five Levels in total. According to the laws of the five kingdoms, the Level and Class of the parents were passed on to the children. Felises were forbidden to leave their Level without a good reason and marry a representative of another Level. However, sometimes there were exceptions.
