The writer of this book experienced hundreds of encounters with the great cloud of witnesses before he first met Bob Jones in a vision. Bob visited him three times over a couple of years, and then one day, he told Matthew to sit down and type and record their conversations. He was going to call the encounters "Conversations with Bob" and produce a book, knowing that the discussions would benefit others. Suddenly, Bob changed gears and started to take him to heaven. Before Matthew knew it, he was speaking to 11 saints in heaven along with Jesus, and the name of the book was soon "My Visits to the Galactic Council of Heaven." The saints were happy to meet Matthew and only too aware that the conversations were being recorded to form a book, so they spoke to both Matthew and the intended readers, which will hopefully include you. Heaven and the saints have change on their mind. Heaven wants to talk about what it is like to be a disciple and how to live a productive and successful Christian life on earth. This series of books, of which this is the first, will be a course in heavenly discipleship through the personalities and the wisdom of heaven's saints, who have been watching all of us on earth. Come and see the personalities of heaven, come and listen to their instruction and their counsel, and if you are really eager and courageous, come and visit the council for yourself and ask your own questions. Let this book take you to heaven and be a stepping stone in your own personal encounters with the saints and Jesus in heaven.

Many people might question the veracity of a man meeting a saint from heaven and dialoguing with him on earth and then being taken to heaven and interacting with saints up there.
First, I want to say that when Jesus himself was here on earth, he spoke to two people that weren’t present and alive at the time. On the Mount of Transfiguration, Jesus spoke to Moses, who had died 2,000 years before, and to Elijah, who was taken to heaven hundreds of years before Jesus’ life and ministry on earth.
Scripture also records men in white linen talking to the disciples and asking them why they were concerned when Jesus ascended. These men in white linen were not angels, and they told the disciples that Jesus would come back in the same manner as he went.
Also, the Scriptures record that when Jesus was crucified and resurrected, saints from the Bible came out of their tombs and visited the people of Jerusalem.
These three accounts give Biblical precedence to people on earth being visited by departed saints and for it to be possible that this is in the will of God and can be used for his purposes.
For many years, I have had visitations from saints from heaven, and if you read history books, you will find that many Christians that have gone before us have also had visits from the great cloud of witnesses mentioned in Hebrews 12:1.
This book started out with Bob Jones visiting me, and I thought it was going to be a book about his counsel to me. However, six messages into our visits, he told me that God was going to take me to heaven to meet with a council there. From message 7 to message 16 and in the second book to follow this one, I have been visiting heaven to speak to this galactic council.
