Mindfulness can be utilized to control your stress so you can preserve your health. The mindful stress reduction is a method of working with pain, stress and illness using mindfulness. It was developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center to help patients who are coping with chronic conditions.  It is an evidence-based treatment that demonstrates reduction of many medical symptoms as well as improvement in the quality of life for patients.
