The sensation is of the greatest importance when meditation is involved. You get to experience and work with the sensation. Like mentioned earlier, meditation is a feeling and emotion, so the whole thing revolves around sensation. 

During the initial phase, it is difficult to control your thoughts. This wandering will stop after a while and you can feel some sort of sensation in the body which will bring peace. This physical sensation basically changes your inner feeling – you can expect both your mind and behavior to improve. 

Sometimes your body gives you a message which you fail to listen to. The art of body-sensing will help you understand your body completely. Your mind will be tuned in such a way that it will take every subtle message as soon as it receives them.
