Meditating while walking can help you maintain a still mind despite putting your body in motion. Walking meditation is ideal to be practiced right after a sitting meditation session. During this time, your mind has been stilled, so you no longer have to work towards putting it at that state.

However, if you have just eaten, it is better to do a walking meditation before transitioning to a sitting meditation. This way, your body can efficiently digest your food and you will not feel drowsy as you meditate.
