Liam has had a crush on his best friend Mark for years, but the night before Mark's wedding is not exactly the best time to tell him, especially when he's marrying Liam's cousin. Little does Liam know, Mark feels the same way and drunk or not, may want to show him exactly what he has in mind tonight.
“Are you sure you can walk up the stairs?” Liam asked as he watched his best friend stumble up the third flight of stairs to his apartment. After a night of that much drinking from the bachelor party, he was surprised either of them could walk.
“I’m cool, bro,” Mark told him, his shirt half open and half tucked into his tight denim jeans.
Liam couldn’t help but notice how shapely his ass looked as he stumbled up another step as if it were a mountain. He’d always had a crush on his best friend but had never had the guts to tell him. Liam had never even told Mark that he was gay. He’d always had a pretty blonde or brunette on his arm just to cover his tracks but now that Mark was getting ready to marry Liam’s cousin, he thought if he was going to tell him at all, now would be the time.
Then again, maybe he should just let it go. What did it matter if he told him? Sure, they’d told each other everything since they were 14 but this was one thing that he felt was a straw that could break the camel’s back.
They’d done everything together. Learned to drive a car together, talked about losing their virginity to girls together, even practiced kissing on each other. But while Mark might have passed that off as just teenage experimentation, to Liam it meant so much more. To Liam, he’d been in love with Mark since the day they’d met each other as freshman at Beavertown High. He was more than just his best friend. To Liam, Mark was his soul mate. But he’d never had the guts to tell him that.
