If you are looking for a way to lose weight quickly and still stay healthy, look no further than this book. By reading this book, you will learn all about the 5:2 diet, a new trend in eating (and fasting!) that is taking the nation by storm. The first chapter of the book is devoted to thoroughly explaining what the 5:2 diet is, what it isn’t, and what you should and should not eat both on your diet days and your normal eating days. This chapter covers the diet briefly, but in detail, so that you should be left with a firm understanding of how to follow the 5:2 diet.

A preview of what you are going to learn from the book:

The second chapter briefly explains what the paleo diet is, for those who may not have heard of it or who may have a limited understanding of its definition. This chapter also explains what should and should not be eaten on a paleo style diet, and touches on how the paleo diet works with the 5:2 diet. Reading this chapter will provide you with the information you need to completely understand how and why combining these two methods of dieting together will help you lose the most weight in the shortest amount of time.

Sample text:

Ingredients:

1/4 cup coconut flour

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan optional

1/2 teaspoon kosher or natural sea salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon ground smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder optional

1/2 teaspoon onion powder optional

1/2 teaspoon black or white pepper

1 pound chicken tenderloins 6-8 pieces

1/4 cup olive oil or a beaten egg

Directions:

On plate or shallow container, mix coconut flour, Parmesan and spices with a fork.

Pour olive oil (or beaten egg) in small container. Drench each tenderloin in olive oil then gently press each chicken tenderloin in coconut flour mixture. Spray extra olive oil over the coating until wet to prevent dryness.

Ensure each tenderloin is completely covered with coating then place on a rack inside shallow baking pan. Spraying extra olive oil on top prevents dry coating.

Bake at 400°F for 10-12 minutes then flip each tenderloin.

Continue baking for an additional 10-12 minutes. To brown the outside, place tenders about 6-inches from top broiler on high and broil each side for about 1 minute. (You'll need to flip the tenders again to brown each side using the broiler)

Eat plain or dip in your favorite sauce.
