What Nicole doesn’t count on is running into his lordship’s nephew and being seduced by him. When she finally meets Lord Sandford in person, lives up to his reputation, but then something happens that Nicole didn’t forsee.
This book is part of the Masters of Pleasure series and sold well. I feel sales could increase if it was translated into other languages allowing it to find a wider audience.
“Caught you red handed,” a man’s voice whispers in my ear.
An image of me being led to the gallows flashes across my mind. Yet at the same time, I’m sexually aroused by his scent. A tinge of sandalwood suddenly hang in the air surrounding me. I take a deep breath. His voice is deep and his closeness strangely welcoming.
”Guilty.” The word escapes from my mouth before I know it.
“There’s nothing to be ashamed of. It’s a lovely painting of two people finding pleasure and delight with one another’s bodies.”
I let the breath I’ve been holding finally escape. He’s referring to the painting and not the fact that I’m about to steal something.
“There are more on the other wall. Here, let me show you.” He grabs my hand and leads me to the other side of the room. “Lift the candle and look at this one,” he says.
