The book comprehends the three novels "La maga della luna" (The moon sorceress), "Lo specchio del silenzio" (The mirror of silence) and "Il rivale" (The rival).
The three novels are connected, since they have the same characters and are set in the same context, but each one has its own ending.
The main character is Selene, the sorceress of the title, who grows in the quiet Emerald Forest, in the Kingdom of Asterus, and learns magic from her mentor Adamante. But there is a mistery in her past. To discover it, she will travel to the kingdom of Reinkar. This will be only the beginning of a way which will lead her among many adventures, meeting friends and enemies, fighting and travelling in a world made of dark and bright magic, friendship and cruelty.
Genre: FICTION / Fantasy / HistoricalThe book was published on the Lulu platform in July 2016 and distributed also on Amazon. In 2017 I published the second edition of the book with the Italian platform Streetlib, which allowed me to distribute the ebook on a wider range of online platforms (Amazon, IBS, Hoepli, Bookrepublic, Google Play, Kobo etc.) A few months later I also published my second book with the same platform.
Since there I sell mainly ebook copies, while the paperback format finds its market mainly through direct sell during presentations and book fairs. Since the end of May 2017 (ebook publishing) I could sell about 100 ebook copies of both my books, with an average of 20 copies per month.
I am interested into translating my book in other languages since in other countries fantasy is a more diffused genre than in Italy, so I hope to find new audiences and customers.

In March 2017 there was an official presentation of the book at the Central Civic Library of Turin. Since June 2017 I am part of the italian association of writers "Scrittori Emergenti Uniti" and, with them, I took part to the fairs of Montepescali (Tuscany), Narni (Umbria) and Rosignano (Tuscany). My book will be present with the other books of the association at the Pisa Book Festival in november 2017.

Da secoli non si era scatenata una rivolta così violenta, nel regno di Reinkar, ma ora la situazione si era fatta insostenibile. Re Hunibald Von Königsburg aveva aumentato le tasse all’inverosimile, ordinando la requisizione forzosa dei beni di chi non avesse potuto pagarle. Innumerevoli contadini e piccoli artigiani, che vivevano solo della loro terra e del loro lavoro, avevano perduto tutto ciò che possedevano e adesso, poveri e infelici, vagavano per le città, mendicando o rubando per vivere. Il regno, un tempo florido e in pace, si era impoverito e il generale malcontento era sfociato in tensioni pericolose e sommosse. Il re aveva di conseguenza emanato una serie di editti che stabilivano l’arresto immediato di chiunque opponesse resistenza agli esattori e alle guardie, inasprivano le pene, estendevano il campo di applicazione del crimine di lesa maestà e ampliavano l’impiego della tortura e della pena capitale. Così facendo, il sovrano si era reso inviso non solo al popolo, ma anche a molti ufficiali e soldati, che non di rado si erano rifiutati di ubbidire agli ordini loro impartiti. Ad un certo punto, perciò, le guarnigioni di Reinkar erano state sostituite da guardie mercenarie, spietate e senza scrupoli, che agivano solo per denaro; i soldati che si erano ribellati ai comandi del re, inoltre, erano stati accusati di alto tradimento e gettati in carcere. La stessa sorte era toccata a tutti coloro che si erano opposti con decisione alla nuova linea di governo di Hunibald, compresi alcuni esponenti di illustri famiglie nobili e diversi funzionari reali.
