The Targeted Ketogenic Diet is primarily for individuals who engage in a lot of regular physical exercise. The higher the GI number, the faster the rise in blood sugar. Since the carbs that you eat before exercising move quickly through the bloodstream, the glucose will be burned up during the workout without causing an excessive disruption to ketosis.
