People on keto diet should check themselves for ketosis at regular intervals, at least once every week to be more precise. They should have a pack of keto sticks ready at home (these sticks can be obtained from any convenience store in your locality).

If the stick turns dark purple, your urine contains ketones in very high quantity and it’s not good news. Divide your day into two laves, building phase and cleansing phase. The building phase is the time between your first meal and last meal. Cleansing phase, on the other hand, is the time between your last meal and first meal. As a beginner, your cleansing phase should be of 12 to 16 hours, while your building phase should be of 8 to 12 hours. Slow, try to increase the cleansing phase to 18 hours and drop the building phase to 6 hours. When fasting during the cleansing phase, you can have organic coffee, herbal teas, grass-fed butter, coconut oil etc.
