2 cups of broccoli florets
2 cups of water
4 ounces of softened cream cheese
½ cup of chicken broth
¼ cup of heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon of salt
Pepper to taste
1 cup of Cheddar cheese
Directions
Steam the broccoli florets until tender.
Put all the cream cheese, ½ cup of the broccoli, all the heavy cream and ½ cup of the water in a blender.
Mix until it forms a smooth mixture.
Pour this mixture into a large saucepan, and then add the rest of the broccoli, chicken broth, and water.
Mix until all the ingredients blend in together.
Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
Add the Cheddar cheese when the saucepan has heated and then mix until it melts and consolidates into the mixture.
Add pepper to taste.
