He Protects us while we Protect others

Jesus christ is my bodyguard

What you can learn from a security expert about Gods divine protection. We have seen a rise in violence in the world - terrorist incidents, riots, acts of aggression, domestic violence, mass shootings, gang violence, kidnappings, and bombings. This book was written for you so that you could 'fear not' and rest assured in God's DIVINE PROTECTION. The main audience for this book consists of those in the security and police fields, to let them know that while they are protecting others, Jesus is right there protecting them. This book can also be read by non-protection agents. As you read, you will come to understand that God is your personal bodyguard.

CHAPTER ONE: ON SHEEP

“I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion.” (Alexander the Great)

If you are in the security business, you must have heard of Lt. Col. Dave Grossman, U.S. Army (Ret.) Director, Warrior Science Group, Member, American Board for Certification in Homeland Security; Member, American College of Forensic Examiners Institute. He made an observation on the three classes of people living in this society.

“Most of the people in our society are sheep. They are kind, gentle, productive creatures who can only hurt one another by accident…. Then there are the wolves and the wolves feed on the sheep without mercy…and there are sheepdogs who live to protect the flock and confront the wolf…. If you have no capacity for violence then you are a healthy productive citizen, a sheep. If you have a capacity for violence and no empathy for your fellow citizens, then you have defined an aggressive sociopath, a wolf. But what if you have a capacity for violence, and a deep love for your fellow citizens? What do you have then? A sheepdog, a warrior, someone who is walking the hero’s path. Someone who can walk into the heart of darkness, into the universal human phobia, and walk out unscathed.”[1]

Lt. Grossman wasn’t the first person to compare men to sheep. The Bible is full of men who had the same idea.
