You will be paid such and such, the amount you qualify for, on the 3rd or 15th of the every month.
If you want to do direct deposit, which is what I suggest, they will be right on time every month and never miss.
The checks sometimes will get lost in the mail. If you have them come in the mail, other people may be able to steal the checks because they know that all older people and disabled people get their money on the 3rd and 15th of every month.
If you have it direct deposited it will be right there. If the third is on a Saturday or Sunday they'll pay it on Friday. They will pay it early not late. If the 15th is on a holiday, they'll pay it on the 13th or the 12th, whichever date lands on Friday.
When it comes in direct deposit it shows up as US Treasury on your account; there's the money in there and now you're qualified.
