We thought that the ideal way to counter this problem would be to think about exercising first thing in the morning (instead of thinking about eating breakfast, for instance) or again, you can put exercising as a priority right after you finish work (meaning that you should get to the gym before heading home after work). This is because like said in our early steps, planning an exercise makes it more serious and easy to follow.
So here, the strategy is to place your exercise session in the free spots you can find in your schedule, like early in the morning after waking up and before you get to work, because not only will it boost your mood thanks to the adrenaline rush, but also due to the fact that those morning routines are easier to follow than the ones set later on during the day. This means that if you’ve set up your exercise timing at around 6 am, then you will know that exercising comes automatically after hearing your alarm clock at 6 am, getting off your bed and brushing your teeth.
To be effective make sure that the time you set for your exercise session is set with a 2-hour gap with the time you need to show up at your job. So, if for instance, your job starts at 9 am, you should set your workout time at around 7 am. This way you will have the time to clean up, refresh yourself and maybe eat breakfast before you leave for work, which is always good after sweating and burning calories.
