Sample text:

Freddie is at home in the swamp. It’s a hot, lazy day and he’s relaxing with a cold drink in his hand and his old straw hat on his head to help shade out the sun. He’s thinking about going for a swim or maybe playing with some of his friends.

Freddie’s friends grasshopper, fly and worm are excited. They jump up and down and say, “the mailman is coming. You have some mail. Hurry Freddie!”

Freddie is so happy he got some mail today. He’s jumping for joy. “What’s in the mail Freddie?” his friends ask. “Tell us what it is.”

Freddie is grinning ear to ear. He says “I got an invitation. I’m invited to a big family reunion in Central Pond.” Freddie hasn’t seen his family in a long time. He can’t wait to see his cousins, aunts and uncles again, but it’s a long journey to get to Central Pond from the swamp.
