Renee and Ezekiel arrived home from their honeymoon a few weeks ago. They are worried because Sam is still on the loose since breaking out of jail, so Ezekiel has been working at home.
Ezekiel has had Renee under surveillance, and Renee has security personnel with her at all times.
Renee is pregnant, and her emotions are all over the place, so she worries about Sam being free because no one can find him, and she is scared when the babies arrive.
Renee and Ezekiel felt the babies kick for the first time, which was a joyous occasion for both of them. Ezekiel is by Renee’s side for every doctor’s appointment, and Renee would go to Ezekiel’s office if he needed to stop by the office for any reason.
Renee goes to court against her former boss and wins the court case.

One afternoon Renee wanted to go to lunch, so she asked Steve and Monica to take her out. While they are there, Renee finds out that one of her family members is in trouble, so she ditches her security team before she goes missing.
Steve called Ezekiel to explain to him what had happened to Renee. Ezekiel has everyone he knows looking for Renee, but he doesn’t realize Renee left him a clue to find her.

Renee
It’s October now, so it’s been a while since we came home from our honeymoon. No one had found Sam yet, so Zeke has had me under the watchful eye of our security team. Zeke had been working from home unless he had meetings that he couldn’t miss. Even then, Zeke tried to do video conferences, but sometimes he couldn’t avoid going to work.
I usually had Zeke and Steve with me whenever I wanted to go anywhere. If Zeke was in a meeting, then Steve and Monica were with me at all times.
I was lying in bed when Zeke walked out of the bathroom; he was freshly showered and shaved.
“Princess, what are you daydreaming about?” Zeke asked with his brow cocked, his eyes staring at me with a questioning look.
“Nothing,” I whispered with my head lowered, staring at my hands laced in my lap.
“Princess, you know that doesn’t fly with me,” Zeke sighed.
“I’m fine,” I huffed as I stood and ran to the bathroom, locking out the rest of the world, including my husband.
