Welcome To Celebrity Culture

Welcome to celebrity culture,

Where gold vultures lurk at every corner.

To keep up, act like a virgin,

Until you're sliced by a surgeon.

Live on a diet of kale and cocaine,

To numb the pain and keep you sane.

Bubblegum boulevards with red carpets and the arts

A glittering world where fame never departs.

There's no limit to what you can earn,

No limit to what you can spend and burn.

A contract for this, a gig for that,

Just sign your name, and wear your hat.

But beware, they'll take 10% of your soul,

And other companies want 110% to roll.

It's the best deal in Hollywood, they say,

But don't forget to read the fine print all the way.

Jump under the covers, they promise no strings attached,

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, but it's not a catch.

But wait, you know what? Forget it all!

I'll stick to what I do best, heed my call.

I'll keep my dignity, my sanity,

And reject a life of mediocrity and vanity.

For all that glitters is not gold,

And I'll choose the real over the sold.

In a world where values are lost and bent,

I'll stay true to myself, with no need to repent.

So no thanks! To avoid the pitfalls and wild gimmicks,

I'll stick to my tea and biscuits!
