Practice the ‘no talk, no touch, and no eye contact’ strategy after first bringing the pup home, so your puppy has enough time to get comfortable with the new place and easily adjust to it. This will take a lot of discipline from you as the owner as your first instinct will probably be to begin playing with the puppy when it first arrives.
