Genre: FICTION / Romance / ParanormalI am doing all I can to get my books out to the readers. I have an author website: www.sheehan-author.info (New Adult paranormal/romance/thrillers) and www.ailenefrances.info (historical romance). I have book trailer for most of my novels posted on youtube.com; goodreads.com.; smashwords.com; my author websites; and my facebook book fan page. It is my intention to offer audio books for a good deal of my novels. I have only been published a few years, but I write quickly ( 4 novels in the last 6 months) so my inventory of published works is growing. I send ARC to reviewers and have been lucky enough to get 4 & 5 star reviews for the most part. Books are launched with a book blog tour for their initial release.

This book is a New Adult book but I think it is good for younger readers too. It's a great paranormal mystery thriller with a little bit of romance in it. This is book one of a two but it could easily end there and be a stand alone. I like the fact that the author didn't end the book with a cliff hanger that drives you crazy while you wait for the next book to be published. I found it to be a fast and enjoyable read.
This novel would be an enjoyable read for all ages starting with YA.

“I’m glad to see you found the place okay,” Tara blurted out in an attempt to camouflage her uneasiness.
“It was a beautiful drive out here. You’re fortunate to have such beauty available to you on a daily basis,” Brandon drawled as he eased out of the cab. His injury required moving cautiously. As he leaned in to pay the cab, Tara struggled unsuccessfully to hear their brief, muffled conversation. When Brandon moved away from the he cab and it drove off, she stood in puzzlement.
Brandon looked amused as he asked, “Is something wrong?”
“Well, uh... he left... without you,” she stammered.
She blushed at the obvious panic in her voice. The thought of being alone together made her shiver with excited anticipation that she desperately tried to hide.
“I can hardly fit my horse in the back seat,” Brandon said with a broad grin that displayed a set of strong white teeth. “I want to thank you for keeping him here for me.”
“It was no problem at all. Sugar loved the company,” she said a little too quickly.
“Sugar?” he asked.
Tara grinned apologetically.
“My mare,” she explained.
“That’s right, your mare.” Brandon chuckled, “I thought you had someone else here with you.”
“I do,” she said quickly.
Her excitement at being alone with this man turned to nervousness. After all, she really didn’t know him. She quickly turned away and busied herself picking up some empty clay pots that she left on the porch earlier after transplanting the flowers into the window boxes along the front and side of the house. Now she would be expected to produce a companion of some sort and there was no one.
