Recipes can be changed to suit your own style of cooking so I have included a couple of simple conversion charts for liquids and dry goods because in Europe ml and fl oz are common place, whilst in America and Australia cups are more common place. As with all of my cookbooks I also include grams, ounces and cups as forms of measurement so you can choose which is easier for you, but remember do not mix and match. If you use grams then use grams throughout the recipe, and likewise if you use ounces or cups make sure you stick to using ounces and cups.
For Liquids
1 teaspoon (tsp) = 5 ml
3 teaspoons = 15 ml = 1 tablespoon (tbsp)
25 ml = 1 fl oz = ⅛ cup
50 ml = 2 fl oz = ¼ cup
125 ml = 4 fl oz = ½ cup
175 ml = 6 fl oz = ¾ cup
225 ml = 8 fl oz = 1 cup
300ml = 10 fl oz or ½ pint = 1 ¼ cups
450ml = 16 fl oz = 2 cups
600ml = 20 fl oz or 1 pint = 2 ½ cups
