As a born-again Christian, Ellen Joubert gave her life to our Lord Jesus Christ
as a young woman. In 1999 the Holy Spirit gave her revelation that she would be writing books in the future. After eighteen years of preparation, the Lord has given her the assignment of ‘building His people’s confidence’. In 2017 God revealed that through writing books and speaking engagements she will help build His people’s confidence. Who are God’s people? Everyone on this earth. The enemy of this world, Satan, is attacking God’s people and especially children’s minds with lies such as that they are unworthy, unloved, ugly, and do not belong. This book goes into some great truths from God’s Word on how wonderfully you were made, and how you belong to a loving Father in Heaven who wants to guide your life. He wants you to have confidence in Him, spiritually, in your life journey, and in yourself. God not only wants you to be well spiritually, but on all levels of life including your countenance, appearance, mentally, and health-wise. Through knowledge we build confidence, and with confidence, we overcome all the devil’s lies and obstacles in life. When we are to meet a king or the President of a country, we make sure we look good for the occasion. We may even get a new haircut, take our outfit to the dry cleaners, get our make-up done, book in for a manicure and pedicure, and maybe even buy new shoes. Because kings and presidents have great power, it is a huge privilege to meet them. We’ll be on our best behaviour and make sure that we look our best. How would you feel to meet the King of all kings one day? The Bible describes Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour as the King of kings, and the Lord of lords. Revelation 19:16 says “On his robe and on his thigh, he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
So how much more should we want to look our best when we meet the King of kings, who is Jesus Christ our Lord and Creator! When I meet people who do not believe in Jesus Christ and what He has accomplished for us, I realised that the reason they do not believe is that they never had the opportunity to read or learn about what Christianity and the Bible are all about. We cannot judge a person if they have never heard the story of salvation and Jesus. On the other hand, how can people pass judgment on Christianity if they have not done a proper investigation of it? If someone tells me that my decision on something can determine if I would live forever or not, I would investigate it further to come to the truth. When a child grows up, he or she is usually the product of their parents and circumstances. When we have been taught there is no God, it is very hard to believe otherwise. Those who grew up in a Christian home are very blessed because they started life on the right foundation. What a shame though when they then turn away from that foundation and say, ‘I do not believe there is a God who created all things’.
