In her twenty-seven years, Ariana had observed them only once, yet that event burned in her memory! It transpired as a teenager. She’d awakened in the night to the low resonance of voices. Stiffening with alarm in the beginning, - this was soon changed to awe, as she observed them through half closed lids. They were watching and discussing her from the foot of her bed. Extremely tall — she guessed them to be at least seven feet —their bronze muscular skin glowed beneath long translucent robes.
Sensing her knowledge, they turned away— fading into the soft glow of moonlight streaming through her bedroom window. Peace settled over her entire being making her feel weightless. That occurrence and sensation were beyond description yet one she could never forget. As they disappeared into nothingness, she instinctively knew who those special visitors were— her very own guardian angels and their names were Goodness and Mercy.
