Sample text:

He dropped the pen he was holding on the desk. “Yes, the guilty party.”

“Let me just say how sorry I am for the mix-up. I could blame my assistant, but I have to take full responsibility for this.”

“Can you imagine my embarrassment when we walked into the boardroom and saw a cake with a plastic stork and baby paraphernalia stuck in the garish pink frosting?”

I  almost  wanted  to  laugh  at  the  way  he’d  called  my  cute little additions like booties and baby bottles paraphernalia, but I knew this was a serious matter, and my reputation was on the line. I swallowed and took a few steps toward his desk. The closer I got the more I realized just how good looking he was and how he was eyeing me up and down. Good thing I’d opted to change out of my jeans and t-shirt and into my white blouse and black skirt. Judging by his business suit, he liked the professional look.
