Local loner and hopeless romantic Iris Clarke is single, again, on Valentine’s Day. During the annual Cupid speech before the grand lover’s day, Jaya comes across Iris’s file. Unable to look away from those beautiful brown eyes, Jaya chooses Iris for her imminent mission.
When the winged woman shows up at Iris’s house and tells her she is going to find her a partner for the day, Iris can’t believe it. With some tweaks to their official agreement, the two find themselves wandering the city to complete Iris’s list of dream dates, so that she can get the opportunity to finally experience the romance she always dreamed of.
But what will happen if the feelings between the two of them become a little too real, and their agreement is only supposed to last one day?

When she took her hands off the keys, everyone applauded.
“That was a little sad, I apologize,” Jaya said into the mic, laughing softly. “If anyone wants to come make the mood light again, the stage is yours.”
More people cheered on her again, and gave her compliments as she passed through the crowd. Iris was too stunned to move, and only when Jaya joined her back at the table did she realize she had been crying.
“Are you okay?” Jaya asked, concerned.
“Yes, sorry.” She quickly wiped her cheeks embarrassed. “That was very emotional. I got a little too into it.”
“It’s pretty intense, yes. My best friend is very into composing, and they clearly have a gift for it.”
“Pay them compliments on my account,” Iris said lightly.
Jaya smiled back. “I will.”
A few more people seemed to get the courage to try the stage, and they took Jaya’s suggestion of playing happier songs. At some point a duo started playing such a lively song that a couple stood up and started dancing between tables. In a moment of bravery, Iris stood up as well and extended her hand to Jaya. She had no idea how to dance, but seeing how other people were just swaying around, it couldn’t have been too hard to do, right?
Jaya beamed at her and took her hand. They began dancing, never letting go of each other, and laughing at the strange ways they were twisting their bodies to the rhythm. As she watched the beautiful woman in front of her, Iris realized she would dance for as long as possible if it meant she could listen to Jaya's carefree laugh for just a bit longer.
More and more people joined them, and soon, the entire café was dancing to the playful song.
