Well, you begin by sitting upright with back proper straight.

What you should expect to hear as you release air from your lungs is a whooshing sound.
Now shut your mouth as you inhale air the normal way; that is, through your nose. You need to make that move slowly so that you can complete counting 1 – 4.
Do not release that air just yet – count from 1 – 7.
After that discharge that air through your mouth as before with a whooshing sound and this time make your count 8. That means it is nice and gradual.
