Neil jabbed his finger toward him. “Really, brother dear? Exactly how much did you pay Trevor’s birth mother to go away forever?”
Brad shoved Neil and even raised his fist before pulling it back and holding his hands out. “You asshole, what happened with Crystal wasn’t the same thing at all.” He started to walk away when Neil called out.
“You sure about that, Brad? From where I’m standing, you paid a woman to sign away her rights, the same as I did. The circumstances may have been different, but it was still to rectify a fucked-up mess you created.”
Brad didn’t turn around. At that moment, he was sure he would seriously hurt his brother if he didn’t keep walking.
